Disc Golfing in Little Lake Park

Little Lake Park has so much to offer and you could easily spend a beautiful summer day here. One amazing amenity this park has is an 18-hole disc golf course. The holes differ, with a range of difficulty and distance and are perfect for someone who is looking for an afternoon of disc golf. If you’re in the mood for something else to do, this park also has two different playgrounds for kids, a beach, a basketball net and a skateboard park. There is a ton to do in this park for the whole family and is definitely a great place to spend the day without breaking the bank.

Balm Beach is a part of the longest freshwater beach that connects all the way to Wasaga Beach! These crystal clear waters paired with white sandy beaches make for a gorgeous and great place to spend the day! Midland Mural Tour

Town of Midland
Downtown Midland is covered in beautiful murals that truly catch the eye. The Town of Midland created a map and tour of these murals so that you can find them all and learn about their stories! While doing this tour, I will give you one piece of advice, DO NOT miss the largest outdoor historical mural in North America which is in Midland Harbour. Standing at 250 feet wide and 80 feet high this work of art is a masterpiece. For a virtual tour of the Midland Murals click here!

Quest Art School and Gallery

An option for the art lovers trying to be financially smart is the Quest Art Gallery. This gallery has three state of the art gallery spaces, which feature continuously changing art exhibits. Speaking from experience, I have been to these galleries multiple times and I have never been disappointed. The bright and open galleries create a warm space for you to enjoy some breathtaking art. On your way out, pop in to the Quest shop to purchase handmade goods by local artists and artisans, for a souvenir of your time in the Heart of Georgian Bay.
