Description
Tay Township is located on the shores of Georgian Bay. In addition to a large rural population, Tay is home to the small urban communities of Port McNicoll, Victoria Harbour, Waubaushene and Waverley. Small businesses, four-season tourism and farmland operation are just some of the professional draws to working in Tay, and there’s no limit to recreation options thanks to more than 43 km of coastline, the picturesque Tay Shore Trail (running nearly 20 km) and a wide selection of parklands. Tay is also home to Wye March, a wildlife conservation centre that aims to protect the area’s natural resources and educate its visitors on environmental sustainability.
