September may have arrived, but there are still several weeks of summer and patio weather to enjoy. This week we have rounded up four great places to eat brunch in the Heart of Georgian Bay. (Pictured is Captain Roberts’ Table in Penetanguishene.)
1 – Mom’s Restaurant, Midland
If you believe no brunch is complete without eggs, Mom’s Restaurant is the place for you. Their menu includes classic breakfast offerings like Eggs Benedict, Steak and Eggs, and a variety of omelettes. They are open seven days a week, and serve all-day breakfast, so you can enjoy brunch at any time of day.

2 – Captain Ken’s, Penetanguishene
Captain Ken’s serves classic brunch fare for the entire family. Their menu is full of breakfast classics – pancakes, french toast, eggs, omelettes, and sandwiches – so everyone in your group is sure to find something they enjoy. The Captain’s Peameal Breakfast is a house special if you want to try their signature item.

3 – Stackers Pancake House, Midland
If you are a fan of pancakes, you need to try Stackers Pancake House for your next brunch outing. Not only do they have a huge variety of pancakes to choose from, their menu also includes a wide variety of other options in case your brunch companions aren’t in the mood for pancakes. If you are craving something autumnal, their Cinnamon Apple Pancakes would be the perfect start to your day.

4 – Captain Roberts’ Table, Penetanguishene
Located in beautiful Discovery Harbour, Captain Roberts’ Table overlooks Georgian Bay and serves some delicious brunch. Their menu boasts eight different Eggs Benedict to choose from, as well as a variety of breakfast classics with a twist. If the weather is nice, enjoy brunch on their patio and soak in the beautiful waterfront views.
