Do you want to build brand awareness for your organization and connect better with your followers on social media? It’s time to start using video.

The internet people estimate that 80% of internet traffic will be video by 2020, so you should probably get on the boat now.

This workshop is designed for professionals who want to produce effective in-house video content using smartphones or entry level video equipment for platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. It is appropriate for marketing professionals and small business owners.

This workshop is offered in partnership by Heart of Georgian Bay, the Southern Georgian Bay Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Simcoe County.

DAY-OF REQUIREMENTS
A working smartphone with available storage for capturing video during the hands-on portion of the workshop, or a basic camera with video mode and memory cards.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Cole Bennett is the founder of Portage Creative – a full service video production and marketing agency in Orillia. He’s spent the past 8 years producing photo and video for brands such as the YMCA, Hydro One, and Lakehead University. He’s enjoyed time as a professor, teaching video at Georgian College in Barrie. He’s excited for the opportunity to use his experience to help local businesses and organizations improve their branding with video.
