As part of its two day "Celebration of Indigenous Culture" Brookside Music Association invites you to participate in an Ancient Stone Medicine Wheel Workshop presented by the internationally renowned artist and musician David R. Maracle of the Tyendinga Mohawk Territory. The Medicine Wheel, sometimes known as the Sacred Hoop, has been used by generations of various Indigenous tribes for health and healing. It embodies the Four Directions, as well as Father Sky, Mother Earth, and Spirit Tree - all of which symbolize dimensions of health and the cycles of life.

This workshop is very special. You will make your own Stone Medicine Wheel by engaging in the process of sanding, finishing ans adorning the wheel with all natural beads, feathers and leather. David will explain the meaning of this ancient teaching, and what it can mean in your life.

This event is limited to 15 participants so reserve your spot early!
Tickets can be purchased at the Huronia Museum for $25.00
