Do you want to build brand awareness for your organization and connect better with your followers on social media? It’s time to start using video.

The internet people estimate that 80% of internet traffic will be video by 2020, so you should probably get on the boat now.

This workshop is designed for professionals who want to produce effective in-house video content using smartphones or entry level video equipment for platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. It is appropriate for marketing professionals and small business owners.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Cole Bennett is the founder of Portage Creative – a full service video production and marketing agency in Orillia. He’s spent the past 8 years producing photo and video for brands such as the YMCA, Hydro One, and Lakehead University. He’s enjoyed time as a professor, teaching video at Georgian College in Barrie. He’s excited for the opportunity to use his experience to help local businesses and organizations improve their branding with video.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Back by popular demand, Emily Baillie is a Digital Marketing Professor & Entrepreneur with 12 years of communications and marketing experience. She is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association and she currently teaches digital marketing courses part-time at Humber College & McMaster University.

Through her business Compass Content Marketing she has provided social media marketing strategy and training to clients including GlaxoSmithKline, Northern Ontario Travel, Backyard Living Expo, Lou Dawgs Southern BBQ and more. She works with businesses of all sizes to help them maximize their presence on social media.

Emily is a Chartered Marketer and Hootsuite Global Ambassador.

In this workshop, she will combine forces with Arienne Parzei, a Toronto-based travel videographer and photographer who has successfully worked with a number of Ontario tourism boards as well as international destinations.
